Adobe Releases Free Photoshop App for Android

The Android operating system has been enjoying a lot of attention lately with the release of Android 2.0 and the Motorola DROID. That makes it the perfect time for Adobe to release their free Photoshop app for the Android OS. Now you can alter and edit photos you take with your phone, before uploading them, all on your phone.
The Photoshop app is available in the Android Market right now, though it has only been tested on the T-Mobile G1 and myTouch 3G, so if you’re rocking the DROID or DROID Eris, it might be a little buggy. But it’s free!
The Photoshop app isn’t nearly as functional as the full program (what did you expect on your phone?), but it has everything you need to touch up and optimize photos well enough. You can crop, rotate, color-correct, change to black and white or sepia and make other minor edits. The app also allows you to upload your pictures directly to Photoshop.com so your friends and family can view them.
